cotton candies! x)
‘It was weird, and I was definitely nervous, mom!’

It was a crazy, bitter-SWEET 16th birthday. They took it to a much LITERAL sense.

I didn’t expect much.

but even if I did. I would have greatly underestimated my family.

They gave me 16 balloons. Surprise dare on a piece of paper inside. I had to complete them by the 24th hour. I thought it was harmless.. not really.

The entire day (wherein I was SUPPOSED to have the entire Birthday Shield Treatment) was.. draining.

Here are my crazy dares. Worth it? Hmm.. Maybe.

ONE: Dance in front of us! =) -Kuya Doy.This was reaaaaaally embarrassing. If you didn’t know kuya, I have a body made of steel :)) Waaaaaay to start the morning.

TWO: Kumanta ka ng chorus sa isang tagalog song… -Tita Bam.Didn’t happen. Zip. Nada. I ended up singing an entire english song instead ;)

THREE: Eat fresh ampalaya. -Mama Bambi. I eat ampalaya. I WAS confident, but then when I came to the 5th bite.. I THREW UP. I felt sooo loved.

FOUR: Ride a jeepney to Cosmopolitan alone. See you there! =) -Daddy. This was my favorite. I was kind of proud of myself. I kept my head down most of the time. I was clutching my handkerchief so hard that my hand turned white, and it was cold too. I rode with a group of students. They were quite irritating. HEHE. Turns out my Kuya Doy was in the passenger’s seat the entire time dressed in a coat, a cap and sunglasses. He could have been mistaken as a stalker. And I didn’t even notice!

FIVE: Eat a bowl of soup #5 -Mama Cookie. Let’s leave it at that, shall we? *shudders*

SIX: Walk around divisoria alone and buy something (anything) =) -Tita Chingkie. HEH. She didn’t follow instructions. She and Kuya Doy were following me the entire time. I bought 3 cute tops and saw a live brawl. Entertaining, that’s what it was.

SEVEN: Have your eyebrows threaded =p -Tita Khring. They seriously hurt! And to think she was the mastermind behind the entire day’s agenda. Thank you though, Tih! I had a great time :)

EIGHT: Wear full make-up for dinner -Tito Steve. Hihihi. My beauticians made it all the more worth it. ‘WORK-EEEET!’ -Poca.

NINE: Tell Daddy to let you go to school in manila :) -Papa. YES! okaaay.

TEN: Eat Balot :p -Poca. HAHAHA. And she said I couldn’t. But I did. HA! It tasted okay. I liked the yellow part. The bird? not so much. It was really funny when she ate one herself. She threw up. My tita who was holding the camera had balot all over. HAHA!

ELEVEN: Touch your chest and your nose with your tongue -Anthony. FAIL. He could do it. I couldn’t, and I learned that the hard way. I’ll get back at you, Anthony! :p

TWELVE: Drink 3 glasses of water consecutively -Ate Analyna. A suiting dare, I admit. She prepares me water every time I eat. She knows I don’t drink much. Practically sees me finish half the tall glass only. I wanted to throw up after. =_=

THIRTEEN: Cook rice -Manang Alice. THIS AND—

FOURTEEN: Fry an egg -Ate Renalyn. THIS were the easiest. Midnight snack! :)

FIFTEEN: Go outside the back door and enter through the front door -Ate Magdalena. This didn’t really happen. This was supposed to be after the Horror movies, but fortunately for me, my eyes told my body to shut down after everything that happened that day.

SIXTEEN: Think of a unique way to express how you are feeling today -Maman. SECREEEET ;) let me speak in riddles:

The hardest thing to convey is the easiest to comprehend.

Needless to say, I had the WORST of the BEST birthday ever.

Thank you to everybody, anybody and ‘nobody’. And yes, I was Cheshire Cat the entire day :)

Multi-awarded actress Maggie Smith was halfway through her cancer treatment when she made Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince, starring as Professor Minerva McGonagall.

“I was hairless. I had no problem getting the wig on. I was like a boiled egg,” she said.

The chemotherapy was, she said, “something that makes you feel much worse than the cancer itself”. “You feel horribly sick. I was holding on to railings, thinking ‘I can’t do this’,” she said.

But she insisted she will “stagger through” the final Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows. Let’s just pause and ponder on how awesome this woman is, a true Gryffindor.

Check Yes Juliet (Acoustic) | We The Kings

Run baby run, don’t ever look back. They’ll tear us apart if you give them the chance. Don’t sell your heart, don’t say we’re not meant to be. Run baby run.
Forever will be, you and me.

YES! YES! YES! YES!

Although the words above imply that I am ABSOLUTELY HAPPY, ECSTATIC and THRILLED—my choice of song for the day, however is NOT.

Breakeven by The Script.

I have no idea what to do from here on out. Should I move first? I really don’t know, and honestly, it’s pathetic.

HE has given me sooooo much opportunities already! Were they signs that I have to actually DO something first?!

Don’t get me wrong. I WANT TO. I just don’t know how to.

by the end of the—uhm.. “process”???..

I’LL MAKE A FOOL OUT OF MYSELF  D:

(I don’t want that!)

P.S. I’m ranting. Sorry. (but in my defense, Facebook isn’t one for “ranters”)

Mood: HAPPY & SAD (is that even possible?!)
